About Toronto Did you know that Toronto is the third biggest live theater city in the world after London & New York?
We have many major productions currently playing, plus a wide variety of smaller releases, ballet, opera & the symphony. And if that weren't enough we have two great seasonal theater festivals within 2 hours of Toronto - the Shakespearean Stratford Festival & the Shaw Festival.
Here are some of the fun trip info. for family to enjoy..
Toronto has a lot more to offer than theater - we have great shopping, dinning, sports events and museums. But don't worry most of it is accessible by the subway & a car is not necessary. Our neighborhoods offer more individual shops & markets, so you must check out chinatown (third biggest in North America), Kensington Market (fresh foods & flea market), Yorkville (upscale designers), Bloor Street West (ecectic, funnky stuff) & the Eaton Centre ( traditional shopping). In between shopping & theater explore some of the city's other attractions: the CN Tower(tallest structure), the SKYDome (retractable roof stadium), Hockey Hall of Fame (Hockey memorabilia), The Art Gallery of Ontario (modern & traditional art) & so much more. More seasonal attractions include a side trip to Niagara Falls. There is so much to see you will just have to stay an extra day.
